I have been committed to ensuring excellence in education my entire career. During my time as a classroom teacher, department chair, Director of IT and as an acting director for a Center for Teaching and Learning, I have worked tirelessly to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
I have two teaching awards to my credit - one from administrators and one from students. While both are meaningful to me, guess which one I value more?
